Serious problem of Dry Eyes

Dear Patient: Dry eyes can be very irritating as they'd itch a lot. Excessive computer usage can stress eyes giving them less time to blink. This results in drying of eyes. You should decrease computer usage for sometime till you recover. Essential fatty acid containing osmega capsules though good for vision, less helpful in dry eyes. Xerophthalmia as it is called as, should be treated promptly as it will have serious complications. Tear substitutes are also available in the markets. Consult your ophthalmologist for proper treatment.
