Dear Patient: Yes she should get her regular cycles within a months duration. Since she is not getting her periods it is due to conception. So, she can be 28 days pregnant. Pregnancy could have been prevented If she had taken contraceptive pills within 72 hours after intercourse. It is almost a month now, so I would suggest you to visit a gynaecologist and ask for MTP and she will do it. You need not worry to inform your parents or friends if both of you are adults. It is risky to try at this stage for self termination of pregnancy. It will be harmful to use kits by yourself and can injure internal organs.
