Also one of the first in the country to start phacoemulsification (microincision sutureless cataract surgery) with foldable intraocular lens implantation in 1992.
Been performing Excimer laser keratorefractive surgeries (PRK, LASIK, epi-LASIK and Femtosecond Intralase) as well as ICL implantation having performed over 5000 refractive surgical procedures
Actively involved in the Diplomate National Board (DNB) programme for training young ophthalmologists
