Prof Dr. Faraz Farishta is Sr Consultant Diabetologist and Professor in General Medine, who is an expert in the field of Diabetes Control and Management, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid disorder, Metabolic disorder obesity, and Osteoporosis Management. Dr. Faraz, who is a member of the Indian Thyroid Society, is presently practicing at the Mediciti Hospital in Hyderabad. 

Dr. Faraz's  foray into the field of medicine started with his passing MBBS in 2002 from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He later completed his DNB in General Medicine in 2005 from the Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad.

This was followed by a 1-year Diploma in Diabetology from the Annamalai University in the year 2006. In the year 2007, Dr. Faraz did his Fellowship in Diabetology from the John Hopkins University USA, and the Joslins University USA. He later did a Fellowship in Hypertension from the European Heart Society, Fellowship in Epilepsy from ANN in USA, MMSC in Endocrinology in USA, and PG Diploma in Endocrinology from the UK.
