Dr. Manas Panigrahi is one of the well known and renowned neurosurgeons of Hyderabad who is working as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences.
 
Dr. Panigrahi did his MBBS from M.K.C.G. Medical College, Berhampur in Orissa. He has been an outstanding student, who was awarded a Gold Medal for securing the highest marks in pathology, osbstetrics & gynecology, surgery, opthalmology, and E.N.T. He went on to do MCh from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, more popularly known as NIMHANS, in Bengaluru. He has also worked as a Neurosurgeon Fellow, Cerebrovascular and Skull base surgery at Wayne State University, Michigan, in the U.S.A.

Dr. Panigrahi is one of the pioneers of Functional Hemispherectomy, which is a very difficult surgical procedure that is used as a last resort treatment of epilepsy. He is one of the few expert neurosurgeons in the country with tremendous experience in performing the highly advanced and complicated surgical procedures related to epilepsy such as Deep Brain Stimulation.
