Dr. Rajarshi Mukhopadhyay is a Diabetologist and Endocrinologist in Durgapur, West Bengal. He has done his MD in Internal Medicine and DM in Endocrinology.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay worked in Mission Hospital Upto October 2017 where he has been working since Nov 2012. Prior to this he was a Consultant and Associate Professor in the Department of Endocrinology at Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), for a year. After receiving the DM degree, he moved to U.K where he spent over nine years in various hospitals, gaining extensive experience in his field. He started off as a Senior House Office (SHO) at the Frimley Park Hospital and the Lincoln County Hospital, he was then placed as a Specialist Registrar (Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine) at University Hospital (Birmingham), University Hospital (Leicester), the Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust and Royal Wolverhampton Hospital. He then came back to the University Hospital (Birmingham) as part of the prevailing rotation system. He was a Consultant (Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology) at the University Hospital Durham, UK, before he returned to India.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay has been involved in several audit research projects in the United Kingdom. He has written articles and papers which are published in National and international indexed journals. He has also been involved in training, which includes regular teaching of undergraduate and post-graduate medical students both in India and United Kingdom. He also did assessments of junior medical staff and teaching nursing staff and guided them in the appropriate manner to care for diabetic patients. Dr. Rajarshi Mukhopadhyay has also given several lectures to specialist registrars of clinical chemistry of West Midland Deanery where he scored high on trainee feedback.

His special areas of interest include Cushing Syndrome, Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Gigantism and Acromegaly, Hyperprolactinemia, Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and more.
