My relative was admitted with cardiac arrest on 22/04/2013. He had some pain in the chest and was able to walk and talk normally. He had enough time to go to big hospital like escorts. But emergency staff at Kalra hospital forced him to laid down by 6 people and applied an injection which was not required at that time (as we came to know after taki8ng him to Escorts). We never came to know what happened to him after that and the Doctor on duty and the owner of the hospital Dr Kalra also told us the only option was left to pray to God. When I personally met Dr Kalra, he repetitively told me in a rude way that we have brought the patient too late and he will not be able to do anything and you wait and watch. Dr on duty Dr Anil Kumar told me that there was no hope for the patient and patient may not be able to see the next morning. I was fed up and very much upset with their attitude and decided to shift the patient to the fortis escorts hospital. On our decision for shifting the patient doctor on duty Dr Anil Kumar had literally abused me in the night at 2 O clock when I went to the ICU to know the status of the patient. Somehow, morning came and we shifted the patient to the fortis escorts. Now the patient is very well and normal. Thanks to Fortis Escorts staff and Doctors. One more thing, our patient stayed in the Kalra hospital for only 24 hours and they charged us INR 1,63,000.00 and INR 35,000.00 for the medicines means total of INR 1,98,000.00. In my view they are licensed thief, looting to innocent people in the nearby area. It is again marked a question how our authorities are permitting these type of hospitals to run the facilities for which they are not perfect and playing with the lives of patients. If any one can stop these type of GUNDA's operating in the cover of hospital. Soon, I am going to bring this case in media and all Govt agencies and in the Court. Never advise anyone to go there.

I had a sling surgery few days back at SevenHills Hospital, I was satisfied with the surgery, the best thing was that I was kept informed for each and every step, even when I needed the nurse, she would come in just 1 bell even in the mid night, another thing which I felt different about this hospital is that they called me after 2 days I went back home to check about my pain and whether I needed any assistance, I surely recommend you all to go to SevenHills Hospital.

Everything is good in Hospital but the doctors behavior is very rude. Its good that you are running a charitable hospital but it is not means that you will use a rude language with patient. Mainly doctor A.K.Nagar behavior is unacceptable. He start to use rude language if some one ask and clarify something. A doctor can be a good doctor but he should be a good human also.

A terrible, terrible experience. The support staff - nurses, helpers, maids and attendants are totally insensitive and untrained. The private ward is like a big zoo with everyone chattering and hollering across corridors. Lift operator - gutkha in mouth and another pouch in hand - was busy ogling women to the extent that I wanted to slap him.
Doctor by the name of AJIT SINGH when asked by the dealing doctor to go and see what the emergency was walked into the ward without patient file or details. He spun stories till he was asked to leave by us. He fought with us and called us names when we objected to the fact that he apparently did not know anything about the case and it appeared that he was also not interested in finding out anything about it. He misbehaved and finally refused to administer the medicines which his senior doctor had asked him to do over the phone.
Nursing staff seems to have come straight from ayah service with no training whatsoever. It appears that the attendants were just promoted from rickshaw-pullers to professional patient care-givers. Even a monkey can hook up a saline or insert a cannula with some practice - would that make it a nurse?
There are no call buttons for patients to press in case of emergency, no paging facility for doctor, no body knows who the doctor on call is and the nurses fight with patients. The nurse-in charge promptly disappeared when we made some noise to be heard. Nobody is allowed to give number of the concerned doctor even in case of emergency.
Rooms were not ready; had to change three rooms before we finally found a decent room (though there were mice). We had to stand by and get it cleaned including removal of the refuse from previous occupant left in the bathroom and the room itself; this when we had been assured that the room is being readied during a one hour stay in emergency room.
Crappiest administration and facility. Clueless, incompetent, inefficient, inhuman, disorganized, no coordination between floors and units.
Please don't bother ever using this hospital. My father came out relatively unscathed; someone else might not be so lucky.

Poomully Mana – Mana for Ayurveda
Mana means family house of Namboodiri.
Poomully mana, is a namboodiri family having history of more than 500 years. Poomully Mana was once considered to be the cultural centre of Kerala.
The members of Poomully Mana were famous as practitioners of ayurveda, kalari, yoga, music and other performing arts. Sri. Poomully Raman Namboothiripad, the exceptionally talented student of the famous Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar; and Sri. Poomulli Neelakandan Namboothiripad (Aramthampuran) the famous Ayurveda practitioner, are famous among them. Many eminent personalities had visited mana for undergoing ayurvedic treatments and for training in various art and cultural forms.
The buildings and structures of Poomully Mana are famous for typical kerala style architecture. Mana was reconstructed under the intiative of Late Poomully Narayanan Namboodirippad, who was the father of Poomully Aramthampuran. The Poomully manor is famous for its brilliant architecture. The manor was reconstructed by the brilliant designer architect Vellanezhi Namboothiripad, who also reconstructed the Koothambalam at Thrissur Vadakkunnathan Temple.
The Poomully family also encouraged research into the sciences, especially Ayurveda. Poomully Mana library still has a huge collection of ancient manuscripts and books on ayurveda and other sciences.
The last Kutipraveshika treatment to be recorded took place at Poomully Mana. Poomully Vasudevan Namboodirippad had undergone Kutipraveshika treatment under the supervision of Poomully Aramthampuran and Vaidyamadham Valiya Narayanan Namboodiri.
Ayurveda and kalari treatments were practiced here for time immemorial and thousands of people has availed this facility. All the treatments are carried out in a special and authentic style called “ Poomully Way”. Due to the expertise of Poomully Aramthampuran and other members in the Ayurveda and related subjects, Poomully mana became famous as the “Mana for Ayurveda”.
Today Poomully Mana is being used as a heritage centre for ayurveda treatments, kalari, yoga etc. with all facilities to suit modern life style, but without losing slight on traditional values and principles.
