thanks desun hospital. the doctors and the medical facility is good at this kolkata hospital, i am happy, i was treated for liver and accute digestion problem, a couple of tests, specialist doctors and few days hospital stay and now i am fine and back to work and regular life.

I took my relative in emergency at desun hospital with head injury due to fall in bathroom , the emergency is very prompt at desun, the ambulance reached quick, she was admitted and now back home, thanks to the doctors, ambulance and desun hospital. It is indeed an emergency hospital in kolkata

Had a very troublesome experience at this desun hospital. Negligence with my sister in law had almost pushed her to the brink of crossing the line. She was admitted to the hospital with Dengue fever few days back. On 9th Sep 2012, the blood test done in the morning showed that the platelets have been reduced below 20000 (which is a very critical situation and can cause internal injuries by virus). They told this news in the evening and also said us to arrange for the platelets as they did not had the facility. We were really shocked to hear this and also without clues form where or how to arrange platelets at such a short notice. Luckily, We were able to arrange for that in couple of hours, but the news or monitoring could have been done earlier before this limit was reached. I read more about Dengue and found that reduction in platelets is one of the major reason for death. My question to their authority is how do they ensure the wellbeing of our beloved when they cannot ensure or monitor round the clock for any unforeseen circumstances. How would a common man run for emergency services when the self proclaimed Best hospital cannot even give us false hope of relief. More worrysome was the behaviour of hospital authorities. It was just one more case for them. I would strongly recommend not to admit their beloved to this negligent hospital.
