Read MoreI am writing this with utmost pain . My mother was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on 24th September 2016. I had taken her to Kidwai hospital for the treatment on 26th September 2016. After several tests, the treatment started with steroids and anti cancer tablets. She was consulting Dr. Rudresh in the medical oncology dept. His junior Dr. Deepak was suggesting medicines for my mother. I must say that Dr. Deepak is an horrible creature. Dont know how he is in this profession. Dr. Deepak, if you don't have patience to treat patients just quit your profession. Last week, on 19th October 2016, I did check with Dr. Deepak(junior to Dr. Rudresh) as to what tablet to give my mother as she had breathing problem . He said this is not an emergency like Leukemia. For Deepak, Leukemia can be an emergency. For me my mother's condition is emergency. This idiot without any concern asked me to consult a doctor in the radiation dept. as my mother's radiation was just started from 18th October 2016. Deepak lacks the basic manners to talk to patients relatives, just blindly says this is the last stage/ final stage. I know Deepak, my mother was in her 3rd Stage of Multiple Myeloma. I have consulted with many other oncologist including the one from USA. When expert oncologist have patience to go through the reports and suggest things, you(Deepak) lack the basic courtesy. You may have many 1000 patients to treat, but at the end of the day she is my mother. You should learn to treat/talk to patients well. I would have blasted you on 19th October, just that I was consulting you for my mother I had to keep quite. On 21st October, on my way to the hospital for radiation, my mother developed severe breathing problem and passed away. I request all the patients to think twice before consulting Dr. Deepak(Junior/assistant) in Medical oncology dept. Being a junior/ assistant Deepak has so much of arrogance. Just because you are practicing does not lead you anywhere. Please keep in mind Deepak, more than being an oncologist, first learn to be a human. All these counts for your professional growth and success.
