Antenatal Classes

The more you are prepared for your baby's birth, the better and more confident you'll feel. Sign up for our prenatal classes to ready yourself and the expectant grandparents for a growing family - from Childbirth Preparation, to Prenatal Yoga, Posture Correction to Newborn Care and Breastfeeding. The price of your delivery, which is the same for a normal or a C-section delivery, is communicated to you at the time you book your delivery, which is the exact same amount that will be billed to you when you check out. In other words, no hidden costs or nasty last-minute surprises!

Wait for your baby. Not for your appointment. 

There is no reason why you should be made to wait endlessly to meet your doctor or to get your scan or tests done. We value your time just as you do. Not only will your appointment be on time, but our doctors also spend ample time with you to answer each and every one of your questions - big or small.

Every hour is a visiting hour at the Birthplace. That said, we're aware that some moms like to be surrounded by family and friends almost every minute of the day, while others tend to take their privacy a little more seriously. So, it's entirely up to you. You decide when you would like visitors, and we'll be happy to follow your orders.

You love plans. We love plans. And together, we can plan every detail of your baby's birth which should help you be less stressed and a lot more in control. The objective of the birth plan, very simply, is to help you feel confident and liberated, instead of anxious and unsure. It also includes personalised, interactive counselling sessions with the family.

Preconception

Being as healthy as possible before becoming pregnant, and getting early and regular prenatal care during pregnancy, are important ways to take the best care of you and your developing baby. Our nutrition and fitness experts will help you to get to your ideal weight and fitness levels to prepare you for the next big step. 

Don’t forget to enroll into one of the Preconception Sessions led by our gynecologist and genetic counselor to understand everything there is to start planning a family.

Newborn Care

Newborn care at the Birthplace begins even before you deliver. With our informative newborn handling classes for expecting parents, you get answers to all your questions about taking care of your little one.

From the moment your baby is born, our pediatric team not only ensures that your baby is comfortable and feeding well, but also supports mother and baby bonding through skin-to-skin contact. The Birthplace is a Baby Friendly Hospital and a majority of our babies are exclusively breastfed.

Gynecology

Women have special health needs, and we are committed to meeting them with world-class, specialised care with state-of-the-art equipment. 

Our doctors are experts at minimally invasive and major gynecological surgeries and treat a wide range of women's health conditions from pre-puberty to post-menopause.
