Allergic Conjunctivitis is an eye disorder, inflammation of the conjunctiva due to allergy. Allergy can be inflamed due to hay fever, pollens, mold spores, smoke, dust mites, perfumes, eye drops, skin medicines and more. Allergic Conjunctivitis is of two types: Acute Allergic Conjunctivitis and Chronic Allergic Conjunctivitis. People having allergies are more prone to Allergic Conjunctivitis and it can affect all ages.
Some of the symptoms of Allergic Conjunctivitis:
- Red and watery eyes
- Itchy feeling in eyes
- Puffy eyes in morning bed
- Burning sensation of eyes
