Asthma is disorder in lungs. If asthma symptoms are found in people older than 20, it can be called as Adult- onset asthma or asthma in adults. Asthma causes the airways to swell, produce large amounts of mucus and become narrow due to muscle contraction in airways. People having a family history of asthma, history of allergies, smokers in-house and living in the urban area are more prone to Asthma.

- Shortness of breath
- Wheezing
- Persistent cough particularly at nights
- Breathing difficulty
