Adolescent Depression is mental or emotional disorder in teens or adolescents, commonly referred as teenage depression. Adolescent depression may be medically similar to adult depression but the causes and symptoms might differ. The depression can cause due to hormonal changes, developing disorders in body, peer pressure, etc. This can lead to social isolation affecting the adolescent’s personal, social and family life.
