Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode

The Baby Memorial Hospital, located on Indira Gandhi Road in Kozhikode, is reputed to be one of the best hospitals in the state of Kerala. BMH, as the hospital is quite popularly known as, is a tribute to the late K.C. Varghese, who was lovingly known as 'Baby' by all. The starting of the BMH was the culmination of Dr. K.G. Alexander's dream and vision to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible to all.

Mr. K.C. Varghese is the father of Dr. K.G. Alexander, the Chairman and Chief Physician of the Baby Memorial Hospital. The hospital boasts of 800 beds, 40 Medical and Surgical departments, 21 state-of-the-art operation theatres, 18 fully equipped ICUs with 210 dedicated intensive care beds, and a 24-hour Accident and Trauma care unit.
