Acute Cholecystitis is sudden swelling of gall bladder which results in severe abdomen pain. The gall bladder stores bile, which is used to digest fats in small intestine. Acute choleccystitis is affected when bile becomes trapped in gall bladder. This can be more risk in older age, for females, people having diabetes and obsese, losing or gaining weight rapidly.
Some of the symptoms of Acute Cholecystitis:
- Sharp or steady pain in abdome
- Having fever
- Dark stools
- Nausea and vomiting

Consult a doctor when you have sudden pain or cramps in abdomen that is lasting for hours.
