Acquired Angioedema is a rare disorder, which causes swelling of parts of the skin or mucous membranes. In Acquired Angioedema type 2 autoimmune disorder, patients develop auto antibodies that destroy C1 esterase inhibitor functioning.
Some of the symptoms of Acquired Angioedema Type 2:
- Swelling in different parts of body as foot, eyelid, lip,genitals,skin,etc
- Gastrointestinal swelling
- Respiratory tract swelling
- Nausea and vomiting
- Acute pain in abdomen
- Lack of urination or urination pain
- Urinary retention
- Diarrhea
