Acoustic Neuroma is a benign tumor arising from abnormal growth in the cells of the protective sheath that surrounds the eighth cranial nerve. The tumors tend to grow slowly leading to partially or totally hearing loss in the affected ear. You must visit an audiologist or an otolaryngologist.
