Acne starts when oil and dead skin cells block the skin’s pores, the germs enter into pores resulting in redness, swelling and pus. Usually acne starts during the teenage due to hormone changes that make skin oilier. Acne can occur on face, neck, shoulder, back or chest. The large and deep pimples are called Cystic lesions, these can be painful when infected and also form scars on the skin.
Some of the symptoms of Acne Vulgaris:
- White heads and black heads appear
- Greasy skin and spots
- The inflamed spots are painful and tender to touch
