Anemia is a condition developed due to lack of haemoglobin or red blood cells that binds oxygen. Anemia can be heredity and may affect infants from time of birth. Women are more likely affected with anemia . There are almost 400 types of anemia that are classified into 3 groups: Anemia caused by blood loss, Anemia caused by destruction of red blood cells, Anemia caused by decreased or faulty red blood cell production.
