After graduating with honors from Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, he went on to complete his postdoctoral training (M.Ch) in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER), Kolkata. Following this, Dr Kanoi trained extensively in various institutions under eminent faculty to upgrade his skills and knowledge. Some of the places where he has trained include:

  2. Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London, UK - specialist training in breast surgery, hand surgery, trauma surgery and skin cancer surgery
