Dr. Afroz Farooqi is the chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon associated with Apollo Hospitals, Visakapatnam. He is well versed with distinct techniques of cardiac surgeries in adults and children. Dr. Afroz has taken advanced medical degrees in Cardiac Surgery from reputed medial institutes in India and foreign countries. He holds the credit of performing over 12,000 heart surgeries with 99.8% success rate and in Andhra pradesh alone he has performed over 3,000 heart bypass surgeries with 98.5% success rate which is a record.  Dr. Afroz takes the credit of performing first CABG procedure and first TOF repair in visakapatnam.
