He completed his training in Cardiac Surgery (M.Ch) at GB Pant Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 2007, and then worked in Delhi as a Cardiac Surgeon for about 4 years, before going to the United States for specialized training in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.

In the U.S, he was trained in Congenital Cardiac Surgery at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia (2012-13) and The Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC (2011-12) and has also gained extensive experience in Minimal Access Cardiac Surgery at the East Carolina Heart Institute.

He is supported by a team of very well trained Cardiologists, Paediatricians, Anaesthesiologist’s, Intensivists, paramedical staff and with the addition of a ‘Brand New’ Pediatric Cardiac ICU, a multidisciplinary approach to the care of Pediatric Cardiac patients has been put in place, at Alchemist Hospital.
