About

Dr Ashok Shyam has received both undergraduate and postgraduate education in Mumbai at KEM Hospital and Nair Hospital respectively. After receiving the MBBS training he joined the MS (Orth) training at Nair Hospital. During his course he developed special interest in Joint disorders specifically in Rheumatlogy and Arthritis. He has been to Korea and has done a fellowship in Joint Reconstruction. He has been specially trained in treating Arthritis and Rheumatological Joint disorders and is a Member of American College of Rheumatology and also Orthopaedic Rheumatologist Association of India. He is the Head of Indian Orthopaedic Research Group and has many scientific papers to his credit. He is author of two books and Editor of three scientific Journals and a well known authority in Evidence based medicine. All the principles of Evidence based medicine and up-to-date treatment methods are used to provide best results to the patients
