Dr. Chandan. P is a Pancreatologist and Medical Gastroenterologist. He is having significant exposure in the field of Pancreatic related diseases and GI diseases. He has sound knowledge of basic and advanced medical concepts and is protocol-oriented with evidence-based management of patients. He secured the All India first rank in the Pancreatology fellowship entrance exam and second rank in DM Gastroenterology exam of AIIMS. He completed his training in Pancreatology and Gastroenterology from the prestigious national institute AIIMS New Delhi, He is also done his internal medicine training from another prestigious national institute PGI Chandigarh. He is one among the very few DM and Fellowship Pancreatolists in the twin states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state from AIIMS, New Delhi. He has a special interest in pancreatic-related diseases (like acute pancreatitis, and chronic pancreatitis), pancreatic cystic lesions, fatty pancreatic disease, and Pancreatic cancer. He has treated over a few thousand of the above-mentioned cases in his career. He has a keen interest in the management of all the complicated cases of acute pancreatitis, gaining knowledge after rigorous training/management in a dedicated GI ICU and specialized GI ward from the prestigious national institute, AIIMS, NewDelhi. He also likes teaching and is a part of many teaching programs and research activities with a qualified experience of more than 7 years in Gastroenterology and Pancreatology. He has been faculty in various training programs, and workshops and is involved in many research projects with proficient teaching experience to residents, nursing students, and endoscopic technicians.
