Dr.D. Padmanabha Shenoy

Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy is one of the well known doctors of Kochi who has attained name and fame as one of the best rheumatologists in the city of Kochi. He is attached to Shenoy's Care at Kochi where he is a rheumatologist and immunologist.

Dr. Shenoy did his MBBS, where he was a topper in the All India Post Graduate Exam and he joined the prestigious JIPMER in Pondicherry. Though his earlier plan was to become a cardiologist,  he decided to dedicate his life to the upcoming specialty of Rheumatology. He dreamed of doing everything to alleviate the pain of arthritis patients and improve the quality of living of such patients.

After his specialization in Rheumatology, he founded the Department of Rheumatology in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi. His aim was to spread awareness among arthritis patients in Kerala, who had to face a lot of hardships to seek relief from the pain. Dr. Shenoy's dream was to integrate the Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, and Allopathic treatments so that the best of all these can be given to those arthritis patients.

It was this idea in mind that the young and dynamic Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy started CARE - 'Centre For Arthritis & Rheumatism Excellence' - in 2014. It is the first of its kind in South India, which aims to provide the-state-of-the-art treatment to patients suffering exclusively from Rheumatism and its various manifestations, with a focus on Arthritis. Dr. Shenoy has succeeded in bringing Rheumatologists, Orthopedicians, Musculoskeletal Radiologists, and Physiotherapists under one roof.

Dr. Shenoy works closely with all the staff researching on the latest medical breakthroughs and clinical trials available to Rheumatology patients.
