  • In Gynaecology, she has experience in urogynaecology including TVT-O,TOT and vaginal surgeries including mesh repairs. She independently performed various benign open abdominal procedures.
  • In Obstetrics practice she interprets CTG’S, performs foetal blood sampling, manages high risk pregnancies and pregnancies with medical complications, management of emergencies like postpartum haemorrhage, eclampsia, and shoulder dystocia
  • She performs, teaches and supervises juniors for forceps and ventouse deliveries , manual removal of placenta, repair of vaginal tears and caesarean sections(elective and emergency)
  • She gained experience in investigating and managing subfertile couples during her Fellowship in Canada
  • She did consultations and planned management protocol on individual basis
  • She performed baseline access as well as monitoring transvaginal scans, egg retrievals under sedation, cyst aspirations, intrauterine inseminations, embryo transfers and managed ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome
  • During her Fellowship she gained experience in unstimulated oocyte retrieval for In Vitro Maturation of Oocytes (IVM)
  • During her training she was involved in the running of the Recurrent Miscarraige clinic

Teaching :
  • She was involved in teaching medical students and SHO’s
  • In Labour ward, she taught student midwives as well, and included practical demonstrations such as carrying out normal deliveries, management of third stage of labour, episiotomy and suturing and carrying out instrumental deliveries
  • She has also been a resource person in organising and teaching the MRCOG practical training course, held at Queens Hospital
  • She helped in conducting Skills and Drills in BHR Trust for midwives in July 2007
