Risedronate preventing bone loss in IBD during short courses of steroids. This was a multicentre, double blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate whether Risedronate 35 mgs. once weekly prevents bone loss following high dose steroid therapy for an acute exacerbation of IBD.
