Eye tiredness, Irritation, Dryness, Burning sensation etc. can be due to
excessive computer use, which is on rise the since the last decade, and
is termed as Computer Vision Syndrome(CVS). It can affect anyone who
uses computer even as less as 2 hours. Well, CVS is actually an indirect
effect of computers and we can take the below mentioned precautions for
a free computer use.
1. DO NOT STARE at the monitor/screen. KEEP BLINKING or at least remember in every 15 minutes to blink.
2. AC DIRECTION/FLOW should not be towards your Face and Eyes. It will
cause DRYNESS. Change either your working position or the AC direction.
3. 20-20 RULE- 20 MINUTES constant work at the computer followed by 20 SECONDS eye rest.
4. EYE DROPS can be used to decrease the dryness and even for repairing the cells which gets damaged due to the drying effect
