About

Dr. Hiren Kevadiya (Patel) was born and brought up in a farmer family in a remote village of saurashtra region of Gujarat. After completing his MBBS and MD Medicine, he secured a coveted seat for DM Cardiology at the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, Kerala and followed it up with a post-doctoral fellowship in pacing and cardiac electrophysiology from the same institute. SCTIMST is an institute which has been given a special status as “Institute of National Importance” by Government of India and is considered as one of the best institutes in India to pursue training in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. The institute gives research utmost importance, and this is reflected in the numerous independent and collaborative research presentations done by Dr. Hiren in various national and international platforms. He is young, dynamic and takes keen interest in social awareness initiatives like “Heart Rhythm Awareness Programmes” as part of his quest to give back to the society the fruits of his achievements. He perseveres to provide the best possible comprehensive patient care with commitment, trust and integrity.

Dr. Hiren Kevadiya is currently working as an Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiologist at CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad. He is expert in management of cardiac Arrhythmias like supra-ventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia and device therapy for heart failure. His special interests includes Physiological Pacing, Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) and 3D Mapping & RF ablation of complex arrhythmias like Atrial flutter - Atrial Fibrillation and scar related Ventricular Tachycardia

Dr. Hiren Kevadiya is a consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist at CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad. Hehas a vast experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cardiac arrhythmias. He provides high quality cardiac care with expertise in both device implantation and catheter ablation. Implantation procedures he routinely performs include pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT-P or D). In the field of ablation, he seamlessly performs procedures like catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial flutter (AFL), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and premature ventricular contraction (PVC). His special interests include physiological pacing (HIS bundle and LBB pacing), cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT-P or D) and 3D mapping with radiofrequency ablation of complex cardiac arrhythmias, especially myocardial scar related VT and complex atrial arrhythmias.
