Dr. Indraneel Saha

Dr Indraneel Saha is one of the top gastroenterologists and Interventional therapeutic endoscopists of the city of Kolkata, who is known for his expertise.

The doctor, who has been practicing in the city for more than 17 years has worked in various corporate hospitals in the city. At present, Dr. Saha is a consultant with the Kothari Medical Center, the Nightingale Hospital, and the Ruby Hospital. He is on the panel of Gastroenterologists of CESC Ltd. He is also attached to the AMRI Hospitals, the Ruby General Hospital, and the Woodlands Hospital.

Dr. Saha did his MBBS from the Burdwan Medical Collage in the year 1992, and went on to do his internship from the  R. K. M. Seva Pratishtan in 1993. He completed his M.D. in General Medicine from the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, under the Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 1993 to 1996. He completed the Post Doctoral Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the same institution during the period 1996 to 1998.

He worked as a Senior Registrar in gastroenterology at the Peerless Hospital from 1998 to 1999. He joined the Ruby General Hospital as a consultant in gastroenterology in 1999. He also worked as a visiting physician at the R.K.M. Seva Pratishthan in the department of gastroenterology from 2000 to 2003.

Dr. Saha specializes in Gastroenterology, Surgical Gastroenterology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He performs these procedures: Capsule Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Foreign Body Removal, and Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG). 

He shows his expertise in Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography), Sclerotherapy and band ligation of varices, Oesophageal dilations and stenting, Polypectomy, Argon Plasma Coagulation, Balloon treatment for Achalasia cardia, Prosthesis placement, Extraction of stone from CBD, Stenting of CBD and pancreatic ducts, Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, and Colorectal Nepoplasia.
