He has done his Fellowship in Pediatric cardiology from Children’s hospital at Westmead, Sydney.

He is one of the most experienced Cardiologists in India with more than 30 years of experience.

He is a member of Cardiological society of India, Indian Academy Of Echocardiography and also a member of Pediatric Cardiology Society of India.

He got various awards in the field of cardiology. In 1993 at the IAP conference, he got YR reddy gold medal award for best paper presentation. In 2004 at IAP, Kolkata he got “S T Achar Endowment Award” for best paper. At American college of cardiology, he got the highest Innovation ranking award.
