Dr. Nilanjana Deb-Joardar has done her M. Phil in Medical and Bioengineering from University Claude Bernard, France. She obtained her fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and was awarded Ph.D. (Ophthalmology) with distinction from University Jean Monnet, France for her research work on corneal preservation. Prior to that, she did her graduation in medicine from Calcutta Medical College. She then did her residency in Ophthalmology followed by fellowship in Medical Retina and Visual Electro diagnostics from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
