He has started Dr.Prakash Chhajlani Clinic in Indore in 1986. He served as head of the department in Sir Aurobindo Institute Medical Sciences and practiced as a consultant at other reputed hospitals like Tata Memorial Hospital, Indore.

Dr.Prakash has organized about 12 workshops in different subjects of plastic surgery at Indore. He is a recipient of the prestigious Glaxo Award for original research in plastic surgery. He has various publications in International journals' and has contributed few chapters in a book for dental students. Dr. Chhajlani is the convener of beyond medicine series in which 92 lectures have been held so far. He has been a member of various associations and done various camps in India and East Africa.
