Dr. Pratap Reddy is the founder of the Apollo Hospital Group, India's first corporate hospital group
A cardiologist by profession, Dr Prathap Reddy, is responsible for founding the first corporate chain of hospitals in India, the Apollo Group in 1983. Apollo, with investments of Rs 1,600 crore, is the largest private healthcare provider in Asia and the third largest in the world, with hospitals in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, Republic of Mauritius, Qatar, and Kuwait
Dr. Reddy received his medical degree from the Stanley Medical College in Chennai and later trained as a Cardiologist in the UK and USA
He did his Fellowship from the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston
