Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh is one of one of the reputed doctors of Patna, who belong to the rare breed of Otolaryngologists - who specialize in diagnosis, management, and treatment of disorders related to the head and neck, including ears, nose, and throat. 

Dr. Singh is extremely skilled in operative skills related to Micro ear surgery, Micro-laryngeal surgery, Functional Endoscopic Sinus surgery, Skull base surgery, apart from nasal and reconstructive surgery, head, and neck cancer surgery. Dr. Singh is also a recognized post graduate teacher for medical aspirants who would like to choose a career in medicine.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh's foray into the world of medicine started when he passed out with his MBBS from the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in Patna. This was followed by a MS in Otolaryngology -Head and Neck Surgery - from the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi.

His immense passion for teaching took him on to a career in medical education and he taught at a number of  colleges, such as the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences at Dharan in Nepal, the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehradun, and the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Patna.

Dr. Singh, who is endowed with remarkable administrative, planning, and innovative skills, has used these skills admirably to bring about productive, administrative, and teaching reforms wherever he has worked. Dr. Singh has a research background that he gained through his involvement in numerous clinical trials, as well as through research guidance provided to postgraduate students for their thesis.

Dr. Singh keeps pace with the rapidly changing medical scenario overseas training and medical conferences. Dr. Singh has received a number of national and international rewards in recognition of his services.
