Dr. Sachin Daga

Dr. Sachin Daga is one of the well known doctors of Hyderabad, who is working as a consultant surgical gastroenterologist specialist in Hepatobiliary and Gastro-Intestinal surgery in Hyderabad. Dr. Daga, who has special expertise in Laparoscopic or Minimally Invasive Surgery, liver, bile duct and pancreatic Surgery including liver transplant, has more than 11 years experience in the field.

Dr. Sachin Daga has done his MBBS, followed by MS in General Surgery, DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology, Fellowship in HPB Surgery & Liver Transplant, and M.Ch in Surgical Gastroenterology/G.I. Surgery. He has also done a Diploma in Neuroendocrine tumors from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Dr. Sachin has worked for a considerable period of time at the well known Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, and then went on to start his own department in the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Secunderabad. Their team at the hospital has tremendous experience in treating gastrointestinal disorders, and doing liver transplants.

Dr. Sachin has worked with Dr.K. Ravindranath and Dr. V. Mathai from July 2005 to Nov. 2005 in the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Global Hospitals, Hyderabad. Global Hospital is a well known referral centre for gastrointestinal surgery with three divisions, hepatobiliary pancreas and liver transplant unit, colorectal unit, and advanced laparoscopic unit. He has worked with Dr.R.A. Sastry, Head of Dept. and Prof Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology from Dec 2005 to Mar 2006, at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad.

He has also worked as a lecturer in the Dr. V. M.Govt. Medical College, Solapur from April 2006 to Feb 2007 with Dr. J.T Sankpal. Dr. Sankpal is an innovative laparoscopic surgeon who had developed his own technique of two port laparoscopic appendicectomy and transabdominal pre-peritoneal mesh repair. He has performed several laparoscopic appendicectomies, laparoscopic duodenal perforation closure, laparoscopic hernia repair and diagnostic laparoscopies.
