Dr. Saurabh Prasad has completed MBBS from Baroda Medical College, M. S. University Vadodara in 2005 and postgraduation (MD) from Smt. N.H.L. Medical College Gujarat University Ahmedabad in 2010. He has also done DM in Medical Oncology from Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, B.J. Medical College Gujarat University Ahmedabad in 2014. He is a consultant medical oncologist.
His expertise includes diagnosis and management of solid tumours, diagnosis and management of haematological malignancies, diagnosis and management of pediatric malignancies, management of oncological emergencies, diagnosis and management of chemotherapy, induced adverse drug reactions, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy, bone marrow biopsy and intrathecal chemotherapy.
He is a co-principal investigator in clinical trials. He has done a thesis on "Study of the profile of triple-negative breast cancer". He has also done a paper presentation on "Response of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy on triple-negative breast cancer" and on "Outcome of LMB 96 protocol in pediatric large B- cell lymphoma". He has done poster and paper presentation at APGCON, Gujarat and has many paper publications in national journals. He is an active member of Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology (ISMPO).
