Dr.Shaju George is a Psychiatrist in Ernakulam, Kerala. He offers both outpatient and inpatient services for behaviorally ill patients.

He did his MD from the most prestigious institutions In India. He is also a specialist Aero medical examiner in Aviation psychiatry with certification from Flying medicine, UK and accreditation from GCAA, UAE. He is a fellow in Indian Psychiatric society. He is associated with several corporates like Emirates airlines, RTA, Arabtec, Empost, Dulsco, AL Ghurair, AL Naboodha to cater to their mental health needs.

Dr Shaju's special areas of interest include Mood disorders especially Depression, Anxiety disorders like Panic disorder, Sleep problems,  Stress related issues, Psychotic disorders, Sexual problems, Women and Child mental health issues.

He was instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing school health program - Child & Adolescent Resource Enhancement (CARE) and also a PG course in psychiatry during his previous tenure at Cochin. He is a regular speaker at various  international and national professional and public fora. He conducts workshops on various topics related to mental health. He is very active in mass media communication programs on mental health including, radio & T.V channels, print media and social networking groups. He is the founder of ‘Beautiful Minds’ - the social network group for mental health professionals in UAE.
