Dr. Shanthi Niketh Boggarapu

Dr. B. Shanthi Niketh is an alumnus of prestigious Madras Medical college, Regional institute of Ophthalmology, Chennai . He then pursued his Fellowship in Comprehensive ophthalmology and received sub specialty training in Cornea and Anterior segment Services from L V Prasad Eye Institute. He worked as a consultant ophthalmologist at Liberia eye center, Liberia, West Africa. He is currently Head of Cornea Department at Akira Eye Hospital, Rajahmundry.

His areas of expertise and interest include cataract surgery, corneal ulcer management, Keratoconus management. Ocular surface reconstruction, Penetrating Keratoplasties and other lamellar corneal surgeries (DALK, DSEK, DMEK) and various procedures for other corneal disorders.
