Shevantika received her M.A in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews and then completed her M.A in Psychology from the University of Delhi. Over the years she has worked as a psychologist with a variety of institutes including the National Brain Research Centre, Medanta- the Medicity and The Shri Ram School.

She believes that the difficulties faced by each individual vary even if they disability they face is the same. In her own practice, she adopts an eclectic approach to mental health that involves the clients as well as their families. Her primary focus is to provide strategies and interventions to deal with emotional and behavioural difficulties faced by children, young adults and the elderly.

Her extensive training in Neuropsychology enables her to develop evidence based intervention strategies that may be applied at home or in school to manage disabilities such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism in children, and Stroke, Dementia, and Traumatic Brain Injury in adults. The intervention programmes she develops are tailored to each individual and are designed after an assessment session ensuring a focus on specific emotional, behaviour, and cognitive impairments. In addition to neuropsychological interventions, she adopts a psychotherapeutic approach and equips young individuals to handle issues such as bullying, peer pressure, divorce and stress. She also applies cognitive therapy techniques to enable individuals to effectively cope with mood and anxiety disorders.
