With live related and also organ obtained from cadaver ( brain dead ) donor, the patients of kidney failure are getting new lease of life . The quality of life after transplantation is much better than life on dialysis.

Any related person aged 18 to 60 with good health can donate kidney after thorough check up. Similarly kidney from brain dead donor can also be utilized. After transplantation, patient must continue medications life long and has to be in touch with his transplant physician.
