Dr. Sumit Mahajan

Dr Sumit Mahajan is a highly experienced and qualified orthopaedic surgeon. He is academically inclined and very innovative in his approach to give a holistic treatment to his patients. He is a graduate and post graduate from Government Medical College, Jammu. He also holds the degree of Diplomate National Board (DNB) from ministry of Health and Family welfare, India. He further got his certification of Magiste Chirurgiae (M.Ch) in orthopaedics from American Medical University.  He did his Senior Residency from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi and got his specialized training in Joint Replacement from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He further augmented his knowledge in Arthroscopy (key hole surgery) and Joint replacement from Arcus Sports Clinic, Pforzhiem, Germany. He worked in Max Health care, Mohali as a Fellow and Attending consultant. Presenting he is holding the position of head of department, Orthopaedic at IVY hospital, Amritsar. He is also teacher to MS and MCh courses from Texilla American University. He has more than 3000 successful surgeries to his credit. He also has 25 national and international publications depicting his interest in research.
