Dr Swarup Swaraj Pal is the Chief and Head of CVTS at Amandeep group of hospitals, Amritsar,Pathankot, Jammu and Ferozpur. He does every heart,lung or vascular procedure. 

He specialises in Beating heart bypass surgery, total arterial revascularization, MICAS- key hole heart surgery, Valve replacements and repairs, Aortic aneurysms and Ao dissection Sx, Heart tumour-myxoma Sx, Heart transplants, complex coronaries and ischaemic VSRs and LV free wall ruptures. Surgeries on children like closure of hole in the heart, Emergency shunts in blue babies and PDA closures are also done as routine.

He does Lung surgeries like Pneumonectomy, Lobectomy , Empyema(pus) drainage, Decortication, excision of lung mass and fungal ball or lung hydatid. 

Vascular procedures like AVFistula for dialysis patients or creation of vascular access is done. Vascular bypass surgeries ( Aortofemoral,  femoropopliteal,etc) , repair of vessels in accident cases, Carotid tumour excisions  and vascular aneurysm reconstructions are done.

Emergency surgeries like Pericardiectomy, creation of pericardial window, emergency thoracotomy for trauma and gunshot and knife penetrations  and repair of diaphragm lacerations are done. 

Diaphragm surgeries like plication and diaphragmatic hernias are done.
