Dr. Tushar Patil

Dr. Tushar Vishvasrao Patil is an eminent Oncologist in Pune. He is currently practicing at Sahyadri Hospitals in Deccan Gymkhana and Hadapsar locations. Prior to joining here, he was attached to the PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai for one year. He specializes in Medical Oncology and Haemato-Oncology. 

He started off his medical studies in 2002, graduating with an MBBS at BJ Medical College in Pune. He did his MD in Medicine at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, securing 2nd Rank, in the year 2006. He then went to Ahmedabad, trained at one of the largest cancer hospitals in India and received the DM (Medical Oncology) degree with a Gold Medal from Gujarat University in 2009.

Dr. Tushar Patil has made several presentations at national and international conferences on topics relating to scleroderma and gastrointestinal stromal tumours. He has also has been involved in creating community awareness on cancer by delivering talks on cancer awareness in December 2013 and on breast cancer in October 2014. "Service, Dedication and Education" is his Motto.
