Antepartum Haemorrhage (APH) is also known as Prepartum Hemorrhage. Antepartum Hemorrhage is the vaginal bleeding during pregnancy may occur from 20th or 24th week of pregnancy, it can be termed as gestational age. This is a situation of medical emergency regardless of having pain or not, the delay can lead to death of mother and/or baby. Antepartum Hemorrhage would develop complication as premature labour, placenta accreta, renal tubular necrosis, etc.

- Vaginal bleeding
- Abdomen pain (sometimes)

Consult a Gynecologist immediately when you see vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, as the delay may complicate the condition.
