Allergy is a hypersensitive disorder of the immune system that inflames and develops allergy when a foreign particle causes reaction. The major factors that develop allergy are classified by host and environmental factors. Host factors would include heredity, age, sex and race whereas environmental factors include infectious diseases, environmental pollution, dietary changes and allergen levels. The commonly affected organs due to allergy are: Nose, Sinuses, Eyes, Airways, Ears, Skin and Gastrointestinal tract.
