Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (AIDP) is the inflammation of nerves that are located outside brain and spinal cord which reduces the speed of muscles in transmitting information. This reduces the efficiency of the muscle performance, it is found out that almost 50% of AIDP cases occur with viral or bacterial infection. This is a rare disorder that may affect 1 in 100,000 people.
