Angiosarcoma is a rare form of cancer that occur in breast and the tissues of upper arms. It grows and spreads quickly. Angiosarcoma is two types: Primary angiosarcoma and Secondary angiosarcoma. Primary angiosarcomas mostly occur in women of ages 20-40, with those has never diagnosed with breast cancer before. Secondary angiosarcomas usually occur in women of older age, with those who were previously diagnosed with breast cancer that may be caused by radiation treatments on underarm and breast areas.
Some of the symptoms of Breast Angiosarcoma:
- A lump or thickening in breast
- A change in size or shape of breast
- Blood strain from nipple
- Rash on nipples or in surrounding area
- Swelling or lump in armpit
- Change in shape of nipple
When should you consult a doctor?
Consult a doctor if you notice signs of breast sarcoma at the earliest, treatment in the starting stage may allow a chance for recovery.
