Asthma in children may also be called as reactive airways disease by pediatricians. It is a chronic illness recorded in children which can begin at any age. No definite reason is found for cause of asthma in children. The children with nasal allergies, family history of asthma, low birth weight, exposure to tobacco or smoke are some factors that increase the risk of asthma.
