Acute Renal Failure is commonly called Acute kidney Failure, the dysfunction of kidneys. Renal failure of kidneys is two types: Acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. In Acute Renal Failure kidneys stop functioning, losing the ability to filter wastes. Intensive care is necessary in critically ill people with renal failure.
Some of the symptoms of Acute Renal Failure:
- Less urine output
- Swelling in legs, ankles or feet
- Nausea and Fatigue
- Breathing difficulty
- Pain or pressure in chest
- Seizures in severe cases
When should you consult a doctor?
Consult a doctor when the urination is decreased and fluid retention caused to check out with the seriousness of the problem.
